We offer a 7-day return window from the date of delivery. To be eligible, the product must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Please read the full policy below before initiating a return.
01 Overview
At AK8, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any valid reason, you may return it within 7 calendar days of receiving your order, provided the conditions outlined in this policy are met.
This policy applies to all orders placed through ak8123.com, by phone, or via our official social media channels. Returns initiated outside the 7-day window will not be accepted unless the product has a valid warranty claim — in which case, please refer to our Warranty Policy.
02 Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The return request is made within 7 calendar days of the delivery date
- The product is unused and in the same condition as received
- The product is in its original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and included items intact
- The product seal or box is not opened, unless the item is defective
- A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation, receipt, or screenshot) is provided
- The product has not been physically damaged, misused, or modified by the customer

03 Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstance:
- Products that have been opened, used, or installed (unless defective)
- Products with broken seals that are not defective
- Products that have been physically damaged by the customer (drops, spills, modifications)
- Products returned after 7 days of delivery without a warranty claim
- Products purchased during a clearance or final sale event (if explicitly marked non-returnable)
- Missing original packaging, accessories, or documentation

04 How to Initiate a Return
Follow these steps to request a return:
Contact Us Within 7 Days
Reach out via email at info@ak8123.com or call/Viber us at +977 980-1234567. Include your order number, the reason for the return, and photos of the product if it is damaged or defective.
Await Return Approval
Our team will review your request within 1–2 business days and confirm whether it meets the return criteria. We may ask for additional photos or information.
Pack and Send the Product
Once approved, securely repack the product in its original packaging with all included accessories. We will provide a return address in Kathmandu. Do not send items without prior approval.
Refund or Replacement Issued
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or dispatch a replacement within the timeframes outlined in Section 7 of this policy.
05 Return Shipping
Who covers the return shipping cost depends on the reason for the return:
- Defective, damaged, or wrong item: AK8 will cover the cost of return shipping. We will either arrange a pickup or reimburse reasonable courier charges upon presentation of a receipt.
- Change of mind (unopened product): The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable courier service, as AK8 is not responsible for items lost in transit during a customer-initiated return.
All returns must be sent to our address in Kathmandu, Nepal. The exact return address will be provided upon approval of your return request.
06 Refund Process
Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it within 1–2 business days. We will then notify you by email or phone of the inspection outcome.
If the return is approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase:
- eSewa / Khalti / ConnectIPS / IME Pay: Refunded directly to your digital wallet within 3–5 business days
- Bank Transfer: Refunded to the originating bank account within 5–7 business days
- Cash on Delivery: Refund issued via eSewa, Khalti, or bank transfer. Customer must provide account details. See Section 10.
If your return is rejected (e.g. product shows signs of use or damage), we will notify you with the reason and return the item to you at your expense.
07 Refund Timeline
The following timelines apply once your return has been approved and the item received by us:

08 Exchanges
If you received a defective item or the wrong product, we are happy to offer a direct exchange for the same item. We do not currently offer exchanges for a different product model.
To request an exchange, contact us within 7 days of delivery following the same process outlined in Section 4. Once the original item is received and inspected, we will dispatch the replacement product within 2–3 business days.
Replacements are subject to stock availability. If the exact item is out of stock, we will offer a full refund instead.
09 Damaged or Wrong Items
If your order arrives damaged in transit, or if you receive the wrong item, please take the following steps immediately:
- Do not discard the original packaging
- Take clear photographs of the damaged product, packaging, and shipping label
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@ak8123.com or +977 980-1234567
- Share your order number and the photographs with our team
We will arrange a free return pickup and dispatch a replacement or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer. AK8 takes full responsibility for items damaged during delivery or incorrectly dispatched.
10 Cash on Delivery Orders
Orders placed using Cash on Delivery (COD) are eligible for return and refund under the same conditions as all other orders. Since payment was made in cash, refunds for COD orders will be issued via one of the following methods:
- eSewa — provide your registered eSewa number
- Khalti — provide your registered Khalti number
- Bank Transfer — provide your account name, account number, and bank name
Please provide your preferred refund method when contacting us about your return. Refunds to digital wallets or bank accounts will be processed within 5–7 business days of return approval.
