AK8 ships to all 77 districts of Nepal. Orders placed before 2:00 PM NPT (SundayโFriday) are typically dispatched the same day. Free delivery is available on all orders of Rs. 1,000 or more within the Kathmandu Valley.
01 Overview
AK8 is committed to delivering your order quickly, safely, and affordably across Nepal. We partner with trusted local and national courier services to ensure your product reaches you in perfect condition โ whether you are in Kathmandu or Kanchanpur.
All orders are processed from our warehouse in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. We operate on Sunday through Friday (Nepal's standard business week), excluding public holidays. Orders placed on Saturdays or public holidays will be processed on the next available business day.
02 Delivery Zones & Timeframes
Estimated delivery times are calculated from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. Actual delivery may vary depending on your location, courier availability, and local conditions.
Kathmandu Valley
Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur districts. Same-day delivery available for orders placed before 11:00 AM on request.

Rs. 150 โ Rs. 250Delivery to hilly and mountain districts (e.g. Humla, Mustang, Dolpa) may take longer due to limited road access or reliance on air cargo connections. We will notify you if an extended delay is expected.
03 Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on your delivery location and are displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the order is cancelled before dispatch or the wrong item was delivered. For Cash on Delivery orders, an additional COD handling fee of Rs. 30 applies.
04 Order Processing
Once you place an order, here is what happens:
Order Confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation via email or SMS within a few minutes of placing your order. Please check your spam folder if you do not see it.
Order Verification
For Cash on Delivery orders, our team may call you to confirm your order and delivery address before dispatch. Please ensure your phone number is reachable.
Packaging & Dispatch
Orders confirmed before 2:00 PM NPT (SundayโFriday) are packed and dispatched the same day. Orders confirmed after 2:00 PM are dispatched the next business day.
Tracking Information Sent
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via SMS or email. You can use this to monitor your delivery in real time.
Delivery
Our courier partner will deliver your order to the address provided. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package, especially for COD orders.
05 Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via SMS or email. You can use this number to track your package directly on the courier's website or app.
We partner with the following courier services depending on your location:
- Kathmandu Valley: Pathao, Delivery Boy, or in-house delivery
- Outside Valley: Delhivery Nepal, Karnali Express, or other national couriers

06 Delivery Attempts
Our courier partners will make up to 2 delivery attempts at the address provided. If the first delivery attempt fails (e.g. no one available to receive the package), the courier will:
- Leave a delivery notice or contact you by phone
- Attempt a second delivery on the next business day
- Return the package to our warehouse if both attempts fail
If a package is returned to us due to a failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange re-dispatch. Re-delivery charges may apply and will be communicated before we resend the package.
For Cash on Delivery orders that are refused or uncollected, the customer will be liable for the original shipping cost incurred by AK8.
07 Incorrect Address
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate at the time of placing your order. AK8 is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
If you notice an error in your delivery address before dispatch, please contact us immediately at info@ak8123.com or +977 980-1234567 and we will do our best to update it.
If the order has already been dispatched with an incorrect address, additional delivery charges may apply to redirect or re-dispatch the package.
08 Delayed Deliveries
While we aim to deliver within the estimated timeframes, delays may occasionally occur due to reasons beyond our control, including:
- Public holidays, bandhs, or government-declared closures
- Adverse weather conditions, landslides, or road blockages
- High-volume periods such as festivals (Dashain, Tihar, New Year)
- Remote location access limitations
- Courier operational delays
In the event of a significant delay, we will proactively reach out to you with an update. If your order is delayed beyond 10 business days with no resolution, please contact us and we will investigate immediately.
09 Lost or Stolen Packages
If your tracking information shows that your package has been delivered but you have not received it, please:
- Check with neighbours, building reception, or household members who may have accepted it
- Verify the delivery address on your order confirmation
- Contact the courier service directly using your tracking number
- Contact AK8 within 48 hours of the marked delivery date if the package cannot be located
AK8 will open an investigation with the courier service on your behalf. If the package is confirmed lost in transit, we will offer a full replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
AK8 is not responsible for packages marked as delivered to the correct address that are subsequently stolen from the premises. We recommend ensuring someone is available to receive your delivery.
10 Remote Areas
We are proud to deliver to all 77 districts of Nepal, including remote and mountainous regions. However, deliveries to certain areas may require additional time and cost due to:
- Limited road connectivity or seasonal road closures
- Reliance on air cargo or porter services for final-mile delivery
- Infrequent courier coverage in some districts
For orders to remote districts, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm the estimated delivery time and any additional shipping charges. You will have the option to proceed or cancel your order at no cost if the charges or timeframes are not acceptable.
11 International Shipping
At this time, AK8 only ships within Nepal. We do not currently offer international shipping to India, Bangladesh, or any other country.
If you are a Nepali resident currently abroad and wish to send a gift to an address within Nepal, you are welcome to place an order with a Nepal-based delivery address. For any special arrangements, please contact us directly.
